1. Introduction & Corporate Identity

ChainVeda (“ChainVeda”, “we”, “our”, or “us”), founded and operated by Ashutosh Parihar, headquartered in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, provides autonomous supply chain decision intelligence software. This Privacy Policy governs the processing of personally identifiable information (“PII”) and business data collected via our website (chainveda.com) and our interactive software demonstrations.

We are committed to operating in full compliance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000, and reasonable security practices under applicable Indian law.

2. Information We Collect

ChainVeda is a B2B enterprise software provider. We only collect information that is strictly necessary to evaluate supply chain fit, demonstrate decision models, and communicate with business representatives:

  • Business Contact Details: When you submit a walkthrough or demo request, we collect your Full Name, Work Email Address, Brand or Company Name, and Phone / WhatsApp Number.
  • Operational Context: Any inventory bottlenecks, catalog scale (SKU count), channel mix (e.g. Shopify, Amazon, Quick Commerce, offline stores), or operational challenges you choose to describe in inquiry forms.
  • Anonymous Technical Telemetry: To maintain website security and optimize performance, we utilize privacy-focused, cookie-free edge telemetry (via Vercel Analytics) that logs aggregate device type, browser engine, operating system, and country-level geographic location. We do not use third-party behavioral tracking or ad-retargeting pixels.

3. Purpose & Legal Grounds for Data Processing

We process your personal and business data strictly on the lawful grounds of voluntary consent and legitimate business engagement:

Walkthrough & DemonstrationTo contact you and coordinate a tailored 30-minute demonstration of our replenishment and forecasting engines.
Interactive Sandbox AccessTo issue transactional credentials or direct access links to our live Bangalore DC ↔ Kudlu Spoke Hub sandbox demo.
Direct Founder CommunicationTo respond to specific supply chain inquiries directly from our founder and product engineering team.
Security & Fraud PreventionTo detect and absorb automated bot spam, scrapers, and malicious request bursts on server actions.

Zero Data Monetization Pledge: We do not sell, rent, trade, or monetize your contact information or company details to any third-party marketing networks, lead aggregators, or advertisers.

4. Strict Confidentiality of Supply Chain Data

ChainVeda recognizes that SKU catalogs, sales velocities, supplier lead-times, and gross margins are core trade secrets of your retail enterprise.

Any operational inventory files, column mappings, or sample purchase orders uploaded during demonstrations or onboarding trials are treated as strictly confidential business information. Sample customer datasets are isolated and never commingled across accounts or used to train public machine learning models.

5. Third-Party Infrastructure & Sub-Processors

We rely only on SOC-2 and ISO-27001 compliant cloud infrastructure providers to host and deliver our web services:

  • Vercel Inc. (USA / Global Edge): Web application hosting, TLS encryption, and privacy-preserving performance telemetry.
  • Supabase Inc.: Encrypted PostgreSQL cloud storage for lead capture records and system audit tables.
  • Brevo (Sendinblue SAS): Transactional email dispatch for walkthrough confirmations and internal founder alerts.

6. Data Retention & Security Measures

All traffic between your browser and ChainVeda is encrypted in transit using Transport Layer Security (TLS 1.3). We implement HTTP security headers (HSTS, X-Frame-Options: DENY, X-Content-Type-Options: nosniff, Content Security Policy) to safeguard against cross-site scripting and unauthorized iframe embeds.

We retain lead inquiries only as long as necessary to facilitate prospective commercial discussions or comply with legal obligations under Indian law.
